Ambiguity

I think the lyrics of this song are very concise and true...loved it the first time I watched it. People in "it's complicated" relationships will understand.

Multiplied Love

I once heard a quote in a show that was really quite moving.

Some once asked a lady with ten children "How do you divide your love amongst so many children?"

She replied "Love cannot be divided, it can only be multiplied".

Ah the greatness of our parents' love.

True Love

Ahhh as you can see I have not written for a while. Partly because I was busy and partly because I wasn't in the mood to write.

People have often asked me "Does true love exist?". Honestly, I don't think I can give an answer to that. However, I attended a wedding recently which inspired me to believe true love does exist.

The wedding was in one word : BEAUTIFUL.

The wedding was cosy with only about 13 tables. That gave the wedding a truly personalised as the couple made their own displays, cards, program booklets and so on. The wedding program was also different from normal. With white candles and flowers, the wedding was truly romantic and beautiful. It took my breath away.

I have known Z & K for a few years. While we are not exactly the best of friends, they have always been wonderful people in my mind and I always feel happy to see them. From the first day I knew them, they remain the most loving couple I have ever seen to this day. I am not alone in this belief.

Z & K come from vastly different backgrounds. Born in different countries, they were raised in completely different environments, spoke different languages, studied in different places, had different religions and followed different customs. They are probably one of the most interesting inter-racial couples I have met.

That did not stop them from falling in love in Singapore through the common love for salsa. Everytime they danced, you could see love in motion.

They give me the belief that if two people truly loved one another, factors like race, religion, language would not pose an obstacle. If two people wanted to get married it should not be because "it was time'' or because "we want to get a flat" but because love led them to do so...

A toast to my dear friends...for overcoming so many barriers to share your lives together and for being such an inspiration.
